LAURA BIANCO
(violin)

Laura BiancoLaura Bianco was born in Rome where she started studying music at the age of seven, with Guido Mozzato and later with Aldo Redditi. She has been a student of the "Santa Cecilia" Conservatory of Music in Rome, under the guide of Felix Ayo and Luciano Vicari. Subsequently she obtained her Diploma with full marks in violin with Antonio Salvatore and in viola with Paolo Centurioni.
Afterwards she perfectioned her studies with Prof. Philippe Hirschhorn, at the "Akademie für Kammermusik in Schloss Liebieg" (Koblenz, Germany), and with Prof. Nina Beilina (New York), with whom she studied for three years. She attended also Norcia's Masterclasses with: Alfredo Fiorentini (violin) and Paolo Centurioni (chamber music). She has been, from a very young age, extremely active in the concert hall, both as soloist with orchestra (when she was fifteen, she played her first concert as soloist performing the three Bach violin concerts. Then she played also the following concerts: A minor and G major by G.B.Viotti, K216 - K218 - K219 by W.A.Mozart, op. 26 by M.Bruch, D. Kabalevsky, A. Kachaturjan, etc.), and in several chamber music groups, performing both in Italy and abroad: France, Germany, Korea, India, Chile, Perù, Turkey, Indonesia, Libya, Slovenia, Croatia, Mexico where, often, she has collaborated, as soloist, with Mexico City Chamber Orchestra, with Coyoacan Symphony Orchestra and San Luis Potosì Symphony Orchestra, performing, among other things, Beethoven's Triple Concert. The latter gigs gained both audience and critical praises all over the country.
As soloist she has recorded for Vatican Radio, for "Radio l'Olgiata Trasmissioni", and she has realized  CDs for CNT; for S.Paolo's discographic house of Milan; for F.E.I.; for CP-Music/Brighton Festival and for RAI TRADE. She has also recorded, as soloist, sound-track of the film "La Mandragola", Mario Scaccia's direction.
She has taken part to many chamber music groups ("Quartetto Alcmane", "Aer Opera Ensemble", "Insieme Cameristico F.J.Haydn", etc.) and she is currently a member of the "Duo Arcadia di Roma®" and of the "Trio Arcadia di Roma®", of which she is founder member and with which she has interpreted world premieres of works by composers F.B.Amendola and A.A.Nuñez. As first violin she has collaborated with many chamber, symphonic and operistic orchestras.

 

She has an Arts Degree Majoring in Music obtained at the "La Sapienza" University in Rome.

FRANCESCO VIGNANELLI
(cello)

Francesco VignatelliWas born in Rome where he started taking piano lessons at the age of six with Vera Gobbi Belcredi and, began taking cello lessons at the Conservatory "Santa Cecilia" in Rome, studying with Giuseppe Selmi and, later, with Amedeo Baldovino. Subsequently he became student of Prof. David Geringas at the Musikhochschule of Lübeck (Germany) where, having obtained his Diploma, he was admitted to a course of study to qualify him as a soloist, passing the examination brilliantly.
As soloist with orchestra (concert n. 2 by L. Boccherini, C major by F.J.Haydn, A minor by R.Schumann, "Andante Cantabile" by P.I. Tchaikovsky, Triple Concert by L.V. Beethoven, etc.), in duo with piano and in chamber groups he has given many concerts in Germany, Mexico, Rumania, Poland, Algeria, Finland, Norway, India, Cuba, Venezuela, Chile, Perù, Turkey, Indonesia, Libya, Slovenia, Croatia and Italy. For several years he has been a member of the following chamber groups: "Spettro Sonoro" (specialized in contemporary music), "Ensemble Forum" (group of Baroque music), "Ensemble Galzio", "Aer Opera Ensemble", "Insieme Cameristico F.J.Haydn" and, at present. of the "Duo Arcadia di Roma®" and of the "Trio Arcadia di Roma®", of which he is founder member and with which he has interpreted world premieres of works by composers F.B.Amendola and A.A.Nuñez.
As soloist he has recorded for RAI (Italian TV and Broadcasting Corporation), Vatican Radio, "Radio Bucuresti" and he has recorded CDs for S.Paolo's discographic house of Milan; for CNT;  a LIVE CD, recorded at the Government Palace in Venezuela with the "Quartetto Galzio di Roma"; for F.E.I.; for CP-Music/Brighton Festival and for RAI TRADE. He has also recorded, as soloist, sound-track of the film "La Mandragola", Mario Scaccia's direction.
As first cello he has been part of the following orchestras: "Camerata Hamburg" and "Mozart - Orchester" of Hamburg, and he often plays, as first cello, in several chamber and symphony orchestras. As added cellist he has played in the S.Cecilia's National Orchestra for two years and in the Hamburg's Symphony Orchestra for a longer period of time. From 1989 to 1991 he taught cello at the "Staatliche Jugendmusikschule" in Hamburg, and he is, currently, cello's teacher at the Deutsche Schule in Rome.
Since 1997 he is Artistic Director of the "Associazione Culturale Concerti dell'Arcadia®" in Rome.


MARIA DI PASQUALE
(piano and harpsichord)

Maria Di PasqualeMaria di Pasquale was born in Milan where she began taking piano lessons at the age of seven. She got a degree in piano under the guide of A.Ferrari, at the Conservatory Institute of Music in Brescia, thus perfectioning her studies with L.Romanini, A.Tramma and, in Paris, at the Conservatoire Europeen (level of excellence) with A.Fidler and, later, with M° G.Cziffra. She then got a degree in harpsichord at the Conservatory of Music in Milan, after having studied with L.Alvini, at the International Academy of Music, and O.Dantone (Conservatory of Lugano).
She dedicated herself to the study of Chamber Music, mainly with a duo of violin and piano, which she later perfectioned with the aid of M.Sirbu, C.Chiarappa, W.Sigrist, N.Brainin, with whom she has also collaborated, and then with D.Uccello's vocal chamber music (italian repertoire), with A.Fidler (french and german repertoire), and finally with R. and F. Patanè, G.Cigna, F.Cavalli, and the baritone De Bortoli. She has interpreted premieres by Morricone and Pasquotti, along with premieres of South American authors such as Mignone, Camargo Guarnieri, Santoro, Guastavino, Nazareth, Nobre, etc.
Her concert activities are mostly dedicated to Chamber and Liederistic music in Italy and abroad, in countries like Brasil, France, Austria, Indonesia, Libya, Slovenia, Croatia. She has recorded music for Italian TV networks, RADIORAI 3, CANALE 5, RETE 4 and Radio POPOLARE.
She has recorded Morricone's "Vidi Aquam" (1993), under the artistic guide of A.Ballista. She has recorded the CD "Il Sogno di Galileo" with Trio Arcadia di Roma®, published by RAI TRADE.
She has taken part to the Trio Contrarco, with whom she's won prizes in international competitions such as  "Rovere D'Oro" in Genova and "Prix de Paris". Maria is also a member of the Duo with brazilian violinist Tania Camargo Guarnieri and the "Trio Arcadia di Roma®" with which she has interpreted world premieres of works by composers F.B.Amendola and A.A.Nuñez. She has held courses on the interpretation of chamber music and Italian vocal chamber music at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1995), Federal University of Rio Grande de Norte (1996), and Federal University of Salvador de Bahìa (1997).
She has collaborated, as a coordinator and promoter of the concert seasons for the City Councils of Milan, Montecatini, Chiusi-Chianciano. She has also been artistic director of the Milan Musical association "Il Chiostro" and the I.M.I. association of Rome.
She teaches piano at the International Academy of Music of Milan (former Civic School of Music).
